ADA HEGERBERG made a history by becoming the first ever winner of BALLON d’Or F’emnin.

Ada Hegerberg born on 10 July 1995 in Molde Norway. She is a striker and play for the Féminine club Olympique Lyonnais.She has represented the national team at the youth international level and made her debut for the senior team in 2011.In 2013, she was a member of the national team that won silver at the 2013 UEFA Women’s Championship.

At the age of 15, she was a part of the national football team under-19 team that qualified forthe 2011 UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship.hen she was picked for the 2012 FIFA U-20Women’s World Cup. She made her debut for Norway against Northern Ireland in Lurgan on 19 November 2011.

The 2013 UEFA Women’s Championship was held in SWEDEN and she made her championship debut in the opening match that ended in a draw with Iceland.She scored her first goal against Spain made into the quarter-final and played the entire 90 minutes as Norway lost the final to Germany.

She was a member of the Norwegian squad for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup and scored three goals in three group stage games, highlighted by a two-goal performance in Norway’s 3–1 win over Côte d’Ivoire. Later on, she was nominated for the Best Young Player Award for her efforts.

In January 2016, she was awarded the 2015’s The Best Footballer of Norway the Gold Ball. She became first woman to win the award in 20 years.In 2016 she won the UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe. BBC named her Women’s Footballer of the Year 2017 and she became the first ever recipient of the Ballon d’Or Fe’minin in 2018.
