YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS OF 2020
The Forum of Young Global Leaders is an annual list that is released by the World Economic Forum. The list identifies the world’s most promising leaders under the age of 40. The people who innovate new style to positive change in the civil society, arts, culture, government and business. They connect, form a community and invest their leadership abilities and the aim is to create a ripple effect over five years that benefits their organizations and the world. By their efforts, they try to make the world to be a better place to live. The list of 2020 includes names of 115 young global leaders out of which 5 are Indians. The list also has the name of an Olympian and FIFA Women World Cup winner Megan Rapinoe the United States Of America, the youngest prime minister of Finland Sanna Marina, Yetnebersh Nigussie, a blind woman, Ethiopian human rights lawyer who pushes for girls and women rights and inclusive education and from Nepal Pradip Pariyar who advocates for social justice and reforms and many more. The World Economic Forum is an international organization for public-private cooperation. The forum was established in 1971 and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
