UKRAINE ELECTS COMEDIAN AS PRESIDENT.
Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelensky or Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky was born on January 25th, 1978 is a politician, screenwriter, actor, comedian, director and now the President of Ukraine. Zelensky is best known for playing a schoolteacher who becomes president in a popular TV series called Servant of the People.He became the youngest president of the Ukraine.He defeated Petro Oleksiyovych Poroshenko .
Vote percentage for each candidate-The total turn out was 62% out of which Zelensky’s Servant of the People Party got 73.23%. Whereas Poroshenko’s Petro Poroshenko Bloc “Solidarity” got 24.45% of the total votes.As per election commission of Ukraine.The first flag is of the Servant of the People Party followed by Petro Poroshenko Bloc “Solidarity” Party.The green colour shows the performance of the former and blue colour represents the later.
