SEOUL PEACE PRIZE FOR PM MODI.
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been conferred by Seoul Peace Prize 2018.Mr.Modi is credited for his efforts towards Global Peace and his Act East Policy.He became the first Indian recipient of this biennial global award.
The Seoul Peace Award was instituted after the successful completion of 24th edition of summer Olympics hosted by South Korea in 1988.

SELECTION COMMITTEE.
The committee comprises of internationally renowned Korean and Foreign figures.The nomination begins in the eleventh month of the year.The candidate has to send his or her detail information and achievements in last three months.The winner is selected through the process of voting among the members of the committee.
The winner receives a gold plated crystal plaque,a diploma and honorarium of US$ 200000 along with a certificate that has emblem of Seoul Peace Award on the left side.The certificate has text written in both the Korean and in English.
